STORM

Storm comes to us from Geralyn and Dennis Tobin of Beinnbhreagh Kennels in Nova Scotia, Canada. She is a beautiful female from the Fallan and Cloud litter born on September 19,2003. Storm has 4white feet, a full white chest, white tip on the tail and a white triangle on her nose. She is 19" at 8.5months.

Storm will be bred in 2005 (pending health clearances) to a great grandson of one of the top winning tollers in the history of the breed. Storm's PRA status is to be tested this winter (A-B breeding), She will have her thyroid and heart tested in the future. We are planning to have some wonderful offspring from Storm for years to come. At only 4months old Storm hit the sanction matches with Two group 2nd, a Group third and a BPIG. Storm made her CKC conformation debut at Oceanside Kennel Club on the weekend of March 26/04. On Friday she took her first two points with BOW and BPIB over 2 bitches and a group winning male. Saturday she took BOW and BPIB over 10 tollers including a group winning male and a Can Ch Special to bring her point total up to 6points. Sunday she added 3 more points to her championship with a WB and BPIB beating 6 toller bitches. Storm finished her CHAMPIONSHIP un-defeated in her class on Good Friday at her 6th show with WB at only a few weeks past her 6month birthday.

Storm has done very well with puppy sweeps. Her first time out at 6months she took a first in her class over 8 other pups and a 4th overall in juvenile sweeps beating over 20 puppies. At her next show at just over 6months she received a 4th in her class beating 14 puppies. Then it was off to the Toller Specialty where she hit the Toller Specialty ring at 10months with a Best Puppy In Sweepstakes. She then received a 3rd in her class at the Kamloops District Kennel Club show at just under a year.

Storm has continued to show as a "special" puppy. At just over 8months she returned to the ring with a Group 2, 3, 4 and two BPIG. In a entry of 28 tollers Storm received the Best Puppy award in the BCARC specialty. Then she added 3 more BPIGs to her name just a few days before her year birthday. Watch for this amazing young star hitting the AKC show rings in the near future!

Storm is full of energy and versatility. She has already started her field training and loves her duck wings. We're looking forward to doing some field tests with this young duckling as she grows.
